I have taught skiing in Park City, Utah for thirteen years and middle school in Juneau, Alaska for twenty years. I discovered the Gorge in 1987 and moved here with my family in 1996. We feel fortunate to have made such a wise choice. Hood River has everything we want; excellent schools, small-town atmosphere, four-season temperate climate, mountains and rivers, and close proximity to a major city.
