Moved from the East Coast with my husband, Tim, to the West Coast to experience this part of the United States for a little while - with plans to move back East in a few years. However, it didn't take us very long to realize that this is where we wanted to call home and raise a family. Whenever we travel around, and then come back to The Gorge, we feel so lucky to have chosen such a beautiful and incredible place to live.

Just to name a few- there is world class windsurfing and kite boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, and practically year round skiing and snowboarding ! All of this and you are less than an hour's drive to the high desert in the east , or to the great city of Portland through a unique rainforest and waterfall area.
